Fairy GodCloset, LLC (also referred to as “Fairy GodCloset” and “we”) takes your privacy seriously. Below explains our privacy policy.
BY SUBMITTING PERSONAL INFORMATION TO FAIRY GODCLOSET, AND/OR BY USING OUR WEBSITE, YOU AGREE THAT FAIRY GODCLOSET MAY COLLECT, USE AND DISCLOSE SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND AS PERMITTED OR REQUIRED BY LAW. Information Collected & Use
General. We collect any information you enter on our website such as when you sign up to become a member of Fairy GodCloset or post an item for sale on Fairy GodCloset. This includes personal information, meaning information that can be linked to a specific individual, including your first and last name, telephone number, postal and e-mail addresses. We will also collect transactional information based on your activities such as bidding, buying, selling, item description and other content you generate or that relates to your account. If you choose to sell an item through our website, we or our third party vendor will collect your credit card information from you, including cardholder name, billing and mailing address, credit card expiration date, three digit security code and other credit card related information. We will use such information and will make such information available to our third party vendor only for the purposes of processing and collecting payment from you for the fees due to us based on your activities on Fairy GodCloset. Entering and collection of this information by us or through our third party providers is necessary for processing and completing of your transaction as a seller. You may be given the opportunity to provide, and you may choose to provide, other information.
It is your choice whether to provide personal information, however, if you do not, we may not be able to offer you the features, services, and products offered through our website.
Member Profile. You may choose to complete your online community member profile by providing us with your name, postal and email address, telephone number, unique login name, unique password, and / or other personal information. This information is primarily used to (i) allow us to keep you informed about your orders, our site, and our services and products, (ii) make product and service improvements to our website, (iii) customize the content of our website to your needs, and (iv) to allow you to sell and purchase items through our site. Additionally, your login name is connected to your activity through our site and is available publicly to others. Others can see your activities connected with our site such your bids, purchases, items for sale, feedback, ratings and associated comments. Notices sent to other community members about suspicious activity and policy violations on our sites will refer to login names. Also, if you associate your name with your login name, the people to whom you have revealed your name will be able to personally identify your activities. If you access our sites from a shared or a public computer your login may also be visible to others who use the computer after you.
Member Use of Information. Our website enables our members to share personal and financial information to complete transactions. When our members are involved in a transaction, they may have access to each others user login name, email address, shipping and billing information, and other contact information. We will never request your credit card information, login username, login password, billing information, in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail.
